Kuai: Break-through [Resoluteness]

The Judgement:
Breakthrough. The warrior
Must resolutely make the matter known
At the court of the nagual.
It must be announced truthfully.
Danger. It is necessary
To notify one's own tribe.
It does not further to indulge.
It furthers one to undertake something.
Breakthrough means resoluteness.

The Image:
The lake has risen up to heaven.
The image of Breakthrough.
Thus the warrior dispenses goods
Unto others and refrains
From resting on his virtue.

Nine in the fourth place:
There is no skin on the thighs
And walking comes hard.
If a man were to allow himself
To be led like a sheep,
Remorse would disappear.
But if these words are heard
They will not be believed.
Unclear comprehension.
The place is not correct.

Six at the top:
No crying out.
In the end, misfortune comes.

Hsiao Ch'u: The Taming Power of the Small

The Judgement:
The Taming Power Of The Small
Has success. Dense clouds,
No rain from the west.
The Taming Power Of The Small
Is slight.

The Image:
The wind drives across heaven.
The image of
The Taming Power Of The Small.
Thus the warrior refines
The outward aspect of his nature.

Ruler in the fourth place:
If a warrior is sincere,
Blood vanishes and fear gives way.
No blame.

Ruler in the fifth place:
If a warrior is sincere
And acts impeccably,
You are rich in your neighbor.
